Blogmas Day 3 (Miracle on 34th Street Bread)
Miracle on 34th Street Bread

Nothing feels more classic or nostalgic than watching the Classic Christmas movies like Miracle on 34th Street. I created a Peppermint Mocha Bread that reminds me instantly of Christmas and the nostalgia of christmas. This recipe is so simple but so delicious.
Bread
4 Eggs
1 Stick Butter Softened
¾ Cup Almond Milk
¼ tsp Peppermint Extract
⅓ Cup Sugar
⅔ Cup Brown Sugar
1 ⅓ Cup Gluten Free Flour
⅔ Cup Cocoa Powder
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Espresso Powder
½ Cup Dairy Free Chocolate Chips
Frosting
1 Cup Powder Sugar
1 Tbsp Almond Milk
½ tsp Vanilla Extract
¼ tsp Peppermint Extract
Instructions
Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees
In a mixing bowl add your eggs and mix until combined. Add in your butter, almond milk, peppermint extract, and mix together.
In a separate bowl add your sugar, brown sugar, gluten free flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, espresso powder, and mix together.
Slowly add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients. Mix on medium for 3 minutes. Add in your chocolate chips and mix until combined (don’t over mix or you may break up your chocolate chips with the mixer).
Grease Bread Loaf pan. Add batter and place in oven. Bake for 50-60 minutes.
Once bread is ready make sure to run a butter knife around the edges of bread and flip bread out of the loaf pan onto a cooling rake to finish cooling. If you leave it in the pan it will continue to bake and may stick to your pan.
Once the bread is cooled, start making your frosting. Add Powder Sugar, Vanilla Extract, Peppermint Extract, and Almond Milk to a bowl. Whisk together. You want the frosting to be able to drizzle over bread. Drizzle over bread and sprinkle crushed candy cane on top. Then enjoy!
